Woodblock printing is a primitive way of reproducing an image multiple times, normally in limited runs of 25, 50, or 100. Each print that comes off the block is an entirely unique art piece which will have been affected by the grain of the wood, application of ink, and pressure used by the printer to transfer the image. These prints are labor intensive but the results are simple, rustic, beautiful, and one-of-a-kind.
